Holloway Hall Community Garden
Every Monday
The Community Gardening group at Ley Hill meet every week to learn how to grow food, techniques for looking after fruit trees & bushes, and other skills such as woodwork. They also grow a mix of flowers and have grand plans to put up lots of bird boxes around the site! All of the food grown can be taken by the group to use at home.
West Heath Community Centre Garden
Every Tuesday
Get ready to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, beautiful greenery, and a sense of community. Milebrook Hall Community Garden
Every Thursday
Pop along to Milebrrok Hall and spend a couple of hours chatting and growing fresh vegetables and fruit. Listen to the birdsong as you tend to the raised beds and brush up on our horticultual skills. Each month, you will use the seasonal vegetables to make budget friendly soups in the hall.
Kitwell Wildlife Conservation Project

An afternoon filled with outdoor fun and conservation efforts. Help TCV Birmingham protect and preserve the local wildlife and meadows in the area.

Bird Watching for Beginners @RSPB Sandwell Valley
Tuesday 3rd & Saturday 7th March
Join RSPB volunteers on an easy monthly walk around the reserve, whether you are new to birdwatching or just want to discover more about wildlife at the reserve, the team will give you tips on getting started, point out the different birds, how to identify them and how the seasons bring different changes to the valley.

Short Foraging Walk for Beginners

Join Sustainable Life Birmingham for a 1-2 hour foraging walk looking at common wild plants with edible or medicinal uses, historical uses and poisonous lookalikes aimed at beginners and helping you to get started in the world of foraging.
World Climate Day at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre
Monday 23rd March
Spend the day discovering how we can take meaningful action for the environment in our own neighbourhoods – from small everyday changes to hands-on activities that strengthen community connections and help nature thrive where we live. Activites will include Morning Yoga in Nature, Roots Forest School Taster (Ages 2–5), Walk & Talk Community Clean Up, Branching Out: Seed Bomb Making.
